Email Outage notification for Saturday Dec 6th 11pm

This is a message from the Network Engineering department at Hubris Communications. The purpose of this message is to notify you of a planned maintenance window for Saturday December 6th, 2008 at 11:00 pm.

During this maintenance window we will be upgrading the machine responsible for storing customer email. This outage will affect all customers of Hubris Communications who use our email servers. During mail server upgrade it will not be possible for customers to pick up new mail. Incoming mail will continue to be accepted by us but will not be delivered until after the maintenance is complete.

This maintenance window is scheduled to take approximately 30 minutes.

In addition, during this time we will be moving two other machines which perform email related duties. One of these is machines is also responsible for hosting a number of hubris.net web servers. This includes www.hubris.net, support.hubris.net, webmail.hubris.net, files.hubris.net and www.ksweather.com. This move will mean these sites are unavailable for approximately 10 minutes during the above window.

We apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause but this upgrade is necessary in order to increase the amount of space available for customer email.
